RunMallorca is "run" by Anthony Cassidy. Anthony has been visiting Mallorca for 15 years and living on the island since August 2010. A late developer in running terms, Anthony began club level racing 5 years ago for the Swaledale Roadrunners in North Yorkshire and now for Sa Milana running club in Alaro, Mallorca. Anthony’s love of the mountains comes from a childhood spent (wet) fell walking in the Lake District and more recently backcountry skiing in the US, Canada and Europe.

Derek's guided runs can often take an interesting twist!

Derek is another Brit living in Mallorca - a passionate mountain runner and climber - has posted many top 20 and podium finishes! He has put up many new rock climbing routes in Mallorca and further afield, loves running off the beaten path with as much scrambling and summits as possible. Ask him about the Glencoe Skyline race that he completed...

Yann Chouaran is our Senior Running Guide based in Alaro. Having spent many years playing around in the French Alps, Yann has moved to a warmer mountain paradise. Yann is a Spanish Federated Athlete, a member of the Sa Milana Running Team and a fluent English/Spanish/French speaker.

Alexina Cassidy is our Senior Running Guide based in Alaro. Alexina left the trails of the North York Moors in 2010 and has never looked back. She was placed #3 Veteran Famale in the TCM season 2013 and #6 overall female runner in Mallorca. Her home is filled with a variety of trophies and medals, something that her husband has yet to achieve. Alexina is a Spanish Federated Athlete, a member of the Sa Milana Running Team and a fluent English/Spanish/French speaker.

Ferran Salom (pictured right in black with a RM client) is our most experienced local guide - Ferran has a number of guiding qualifications from the Balearic School of Mountaineering and has even completed the Marathon des Sables!  Ferran has spent many years all over the Tramuntana mountains and is always showing us new trails and secret locations. All of our guides will hold current Federal Licences - FMBE (Federacio Balear de Muntanyisme i Escalada)
